Your job
You will work on various projects within the Sustainability Expertise Team of the Corporate Bank with a focus on business & human rights. The HRED aims to increase awareness and knowledge of human rights within the bank and with our corporate clients. It further enables our coverage bankers to engage with their clients on this topic. In your role, you will:
conduct research on human rights topics (such as human rights policies, grievance mechanisms, stakeholder engagement, minimum living wage) and create best practices that serve to explain expectations to our bankers
develop detailed guidelines for coverage bankers on how to engage with clients regarding human rights topics. This involves understanding both the bank’s policies and the broader human rights landscape
assist coverage bankers in their client engagements on human rights
create communication materials (such as one-pagers and slide decks) for coverage bankers and corporate clients
develop, organise and participate in human rights-related trainings and webinars
Please note that this is an internship focused on practical work experience, and does not accommodate a thesis or final research project.
