Senior Business Developer Regulatory Reporting

Are you a hands-on finance professional who is result-oriented and are you passionate about finance reporting? Do you have knowledge of change management, accounting and reporting processes and do you have a good understanding of internal controls? If so, we have an exciting opportunity for you to join us in the Value Proposition Team of the Finance & Risk Reporting Grid. The program includes laws and regulations in the field of Recovery and Resolution, statistical reporting or other required finance & risk reports. Our team is responsible for conveying the laws and regulations, drawing up and explaining the requirements, offer robust IT solutions for sourcing, consuming reportable data and enable organisation wide implementation.
Your job
- You will be responsible for implementing regulations and collaborating with IT, Change and Business colleagues to improve data, processes and reporting.
- You will be involved in stakeholder management and aligning with all reporting units.
- Your role will require you to have an interest in data and reporting and have excellent communication skills.
- As part of the VPT team, you will be accountable for end-to-end delivery, which are derived from both regulations and the bank's internal strategy.
- You will work in the Value Proposition Team Finance & Risk Reporting within the Reporting Grid. The VPT is involved in a number of areas, such as SFR Reporting, Credit Risk Reporting, Loan tapes, Recovery and Resolution reporting and Finance Reporting.
The VPT's work in close alignment with the Value Delivery Blocks of the Reporting Grid to ensure timely implementation of all changes required to remain compliant. As VPT, in everything we do the focus is on the interests of internal and external stakeholders with respect to ABN AMRO's strategy in the field of Recovery and Resolution reporting and Finance Reporting.
Your profile
- A completed HBO or WO education.
- Experience (10+ years) as a business analyst or in a similar role.
- Knowledge in the field of data and/or reporting.
- Relevant work experience in the field of Finance and Risk Management.
- Strong interpersonal and team working capabilities.
- The ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
- You feel at ease supporting the business and facilitating discussions with stakeholders in order to support them understanding the regulations.
- Experience with implementing regulations in the financial sector (banks) is also a big plus.
We are offering
The gross monthly salary displayed above is based on a 36-hour work week, including vacation pay and benefit budget depending on background and experience. Our working conditions include:
- The Benefit Budget is 11% of your salary. The Benefit Budget allows you to acquire additional employment benefits. If you make no purchases or reservations in the Benefit Shop in a given month, you are paid one twelfth of your Benefit Budget that month.
- Five weeks of vacation per year. You have the option to purchase an additional four weeks per year.
- Personal development Budget of€ 1,000 per year, which you can accumulate up to € 3,000.
- Possibility to work from home (in consultation with your team and depending on your position).
- An annual public transport pass with free public transportation throughout the Netherlands.
