Your job

The Finance & Risk Data Sourcing department (F&R DDS) team supports the stakeholders in Finance and Risk with the implementation of the current and future data structure.
As a Business analyst, you need to understand financial products and how they are reflected in the systems of the bank. We are looking for an analyst with interest in financial products and data architecture of the bank.  You will analyse the data-architect of the bank and translate these into requirements and guidance for the sourcing entities, advise the data-owners and solution parties on subjects such as data quality management, data-management, deriving of data and BCBS239 compliancy.
You focus on representing the interests of the bank and key stakeholders within the applicable processes and procedures, external legislation and regulations and internal policies in the field of Data.
 

Working environment

The Finance & Risk Data Sourcing Department is part of the Finance & Risk Data Domain. The Finance & Risk Data Domain is part of Finance & Risk Business Grids (F&RBG), and plays an active role for all the Finance and Risk departments. We employ 250+ international professionals with different backgrounds who are driven to bring data management within Finance & Risk to a structurally higher level. Our aim is to generate reliable finance & risk data on time. We do this by improving the data itself, data systems and data processes. We work with an Agile operating model. Our Finance and Risk Data Domain consists of 5 departments where the atmosphere is dynamic, open and informal.
 

Your profile

You have an interest and experience in delivery of (parts of) Data Platforms within Finance. You are a passionate, hard-working professional with an eye for details. You are able to execute assignments independently as well as interact directly with stakeholders when it comes to day-to-day matters. 

Do you think you fit in with us? Check your profile:
•    You’ve successfully completed a higher professional education (Bsc.) or degree (WO/Msc.)
•    2-5  years of relevant work experience in Finance, preferably in an Accounting or Reporting domain.
•    You have knowledge of Data Management, including sourcing, transformation and preferably data lineage
•    You are a strong communicator with excellent stakeholder management. 
•    You are capable of giving and asking for feedback.
•    You have worked in change and familiar with the translation of architecture guideline into concrete requirements.
•    Strong storytelling and powerpoint skills.
•    Excellent oral and written communication skills in English.
