Your job

Are you a skilled professional looking for a new challenge? As a Business Consultant you will work within the Change Excellence department. Together with your colleagues, you are responsible for the prioritisation of bank wide projects, optimal project portfolio management and allocation of Consultants towards these projects. Realizing the best project set up whilst having an eye for quality and efficiency is your main goal.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Enable the MT of SE&I and MT of Client / Business Units (including subsidiaries and international branches) to steer continuously and effectively on strategic execution
  • Facilitate (value driven) performance dialogues within SE&I and Expertises
  • Facilitate effective resource allocation by optimal matching of demand and supply
  • Ensure continuous tracking of project performance such as (financial) benefits, costs, risks and resource management and discuss performance with Heads of Expertises, Finance and Strategic Portfolio Management
  • Manage, monitor and assess internal and external staffing requests for change capabilities. This includes organizing and facilitating the project intake process
  • Evaluations of project performance for the SE&I change portfolio (NPS)
  • Identify improvement potential in change execution
  • Optimize our current Portfolio & Resource processes

Working environment

As a Business Consultant in our Strategy Execution & Implementation department, you’ll be part of the Change Excellence team that consists of approximately 13 FTE with portfolio & resource management, capability building, way of working and secretarial support as main areas of expertise. Located at our Amsterdam head office, you’ll occasionally work from our different branches and enjoy the flexibility of hybrid working. Your profile

We are looking for a strong analytical and conceptual thinker with a hands-on mentality, a drive to change and improve. As a proactive professional, you take an analytical, independent approach to your work. You have excellent communication skills, are goal-orientated and solution-led. As a result, you are able to optimally manage your stakeholders with a high level of responsibility.

Check your profile:

  • University level education with 6+ years of relevant work experience;
  • Experienced in data analysis and data visualisation
  • The ability to translate data insights into concrete and understandable recommendations tailored to your target audience
  • Strong storytelling skills through numbers and effective visualization techniques
  • Professional working proficiency in English and Dutch is a must

  • The Benefit Budget is 11% of your salary. The Benefit Budget allows you to acquire additional employment benefits. If you make no purchases or reservations in the Benefit Shop in a given month, you are paid one twelfth of your Benefit Budget that month.
  • Five weeks of vacation per year. You have the option to purchase an additional four weeks per year.
  • Personal development Budget of €1.000 per year, which you can accumulate up to €3.000.
  • Possibility to work from home (in consultation with your team and depending on your position).
