In this role, you will join the Definition of Default (DoD) Center, a team with overarching responsibility for managing the compliant DoD Framework. This team is part of the Credit Risk Change and Control department. As a member of the DoD Center, you will be an expert in DoD regulatory requirements and will have a deep understanding of how these are embedded into the bank’s credit origination and monitoring processes and systems. You will work closely with colleagues from the Policy department, Credit Risk, and 1st, 2nd, and 3rd line representatives.
Do you enjoy tackling and organizing large-scale topics with a broad range of stakeholders? Do you have prior experience in regulatory projects and are eager to master the DoD subject at the bank? Do you enjoy interacting with a large group of stakeholders daily? If so, this job might be your perfect next career move!
Your job
As a senior member of the team, you will be actively involved in all key activities that the DoD Center is responsible for. Your primary responsibilities will include:
- Shape and maintain the DoD Governance Framework.
- Oversee current and future change processes impacting DoD and content and processes for material change approval requests to the supervisor.
- Ensure end-to-end implementation aligns with policy requirements and regulations.
- Provide expert advice on DoD regulatory matters, internal policies, and procedures to various business units and entities.

- Oversee DoD related requests to various committees, especially the DoD Compliance Board, and provide input and advice as needed.
- Follow up on selected actions and facilitate/lead stakeholder discussions as needed.
- You will collaborate closely with the DoD Center Lead and your colleagues on all the aforementioned topics.
- You will master the subject matter, become a go-to advisor for your peers both within and outside the DoD Center. Additionally, you are encouraged to proactively suggest and implement improvements.
Working environment
You will work within the Change & Control department of Credit Risk. The team consists of 27 professionals who collectively have an overview of all relevant aspects of credit risk management and bring a wealth of experience in project management, change management, and consulting. The team has deep insight into the inner workings of the bank as a whole.
The DoD Center is part of the Change & Control Department, currently consisting of three colleagues, with further expansion anticipated in the near future.
Within Credit Risk, professionals have opportunities to grow and develop both in breadth and depth. Different views are valued and respected, and providing new and innovative perspectives is encouraged.
The atmosphere is open and informal, and we are always willing to help each other.
