Department and Team Culture
The mission of HR UK is to provide a proactive service that aligns with ABN AMRO’s UK business strategy and culture, supporting leadership and employees. Acting as ambassadors for the Company, our role is to ensure all our employees, and the business areas, have trusted and professional HR support available to them.
What will your responsibilities look like?
To support the HR Business Partners with day-to day HR activity and projects within areas such as Reward, Advisory, Project & Governance, Learning & Development, Wellbeing and Diversity & Inclusion.
Your duties could include:
- Dedicated support on specific projects e.g. staff handbook update; HR audit; recruitment initiatives; culture workshops
- Maintaining accuracy of employee e-files and HR database
- Assist in implementing any new or changes in our policies
- Prepare data analysis, working with reports and personal and/or sensitive information
- Participate in organising events in line with annual HR calendar and learning initiatives
You may also be asked to support in the following activities;
- Assisting the HR Administrator in monitoring return of joining documentation and full “on-boarding” process e.g. producing employment contracts, on receipt of appropriate authority and all required documentation in place, initiating new starter workflow, set up new joiners on the HR system and instruct payroll.
- Assisting the HR Administrator with new joiner inductions: help coordinate the induction process including maintaining a list of new joiners, arranging for new joiners to attend the induction, maintain the induction slides in conjunction with the HR Business Partners. Present the HR section of the induction programme.
- Assisting the HR Administrator on the co-ordination of leaver procedures e.g. production of letters; checking leaving details (pension, loans, etc.), notifying payroll, sending out the exit questionnaire and booking the exit interview
- Help manage the HR Support mailbox by ensuring queries are actioned and replying to general HR correspondence - mortgage references, employment references, salary increase letters, contractual changes etc.
