Are you an HBO/WO student with experience in event management and interested in working on a large-scale corporate event? Do you want to learn more about ABN AMRO's culture and contribute to a significant bank-wide initiative? If so, this internship is for you!
Your job
As an intern, you will support the HR Leadership, Talent & Succession team in organizing and coordinating an event, working alongside a team of consultants and realization officers. Your key responsibilities will include:
- Planning, organizing, and executing leadership programs and supporting the Succession Management Team.
- Coordinating with internal and external speakers and moderators.
- Managing communication and information provision with various stakeholders.
- Scheduling workshops and ensuring all tasks are completed on time.
- Collecting and analyzing evaluations and recordings of sessions.
You will ensure the smooth execution of the event by:
- Developing and maintaining detailed event schedules.
- Facilitating tenders and testing technology.
- Coordinating logistics and administrative tasks.
- Supporting the team in achieving critical milestones.
Your working environment
You will work within the HR Leadership, Talent, and Succession team at ABN AMRO, along with a passionate team dedicated to optimizing the employee experience. The team consists of around 12 employees, some in lead roles. You will collaborate closely with colleagues from various departments within the bank. The team values strong collaboration, fun, a hands-on approach, and open communication.
Your profile
- You are an HBO/WO student with prior experience in event management.
- You have excellent written and spoken English.
- You are available from February.
- You are available for a minimum of 5 months.
- You are enrolled in a Dutch college or university for the entire duration of your internship.
- You are pursuing a degree in a field related to Human Resource Management, Business Administration, Psychology or Communication.
- You are proficient in Office 365 (Excel, Word, Lists, Teams, SharePoint, etc.).
