Executive Recruitment Consultant

Finding and attracting first-rate talent is crucial to ABN AMRO's continuity. We're looking for an Executive Recruitment Consultant for the Executive Recruitment team, supporting us in making sure we hire the right senior-level candidates for highly specialised executive roles across all businesses and functions globally. Our ideal candidate will continually look for ways to improve recruiting processes and come up with ideas to find the best talent.
Your job
Together with our colleagues of the Executive Recruitment team (Project Coordinator, Executive Recruitment Consultant and Head of Executive Recruitment), you'll be responsible for the recruitment process for our high-level positions. Mapping initial strategic goals and hiring needs, assess and interview candidates, right through to guiding the completion of the hiring process through contract negotiations and reference checking.
What's more? You will partner with stakeholders from across the organization:
- Senior business and functional leaders in the organization.
- Working with HR Directors / HR Business Consultants to understand organizational issues.
- Cooperating with Executive Development Consultants on succession planning.
- Formulating offers, together with the Executive Reward team.
- Striving to increase diversity at the leadership level in cooperation with the Diversity & Inclusion team.
- Working with your recruitment colleagues to realize an integrated recruitment strategy, talent pooling and closing the skill/sourcing gap of critical talent.
- You will also prepare vacancy documents for discussion and approval of candidates by Board members and last but not least, continually look for ways to improve recruiting processes and come up with ideas to find the best talent.

Your profile
On your CV?
- Bachelor's degree in HR, Business, Psychology, Communications or a related field.
- 10 years of experience, of which at least 5 within executive recruitment.
- Extensive experience in working in executive search.
- Experience on both recruitment/executive search agency side as well as corporate recruitment side.
- Experience in the financial industry.
- Fluent in English and Dutch.

We offer an engaging position, recruiting high-level executives in a fast-moving environment. The Hay level of the role will be decided based upon knowledge and experience. Next to that, we offer:
- The gross monthly salary displayed above is based on a 36-hour work week, including vacation pay and benefit budget.
- The Benefit Budget is 11% of your salary. The Benefit Budget allows you to acquire additional employment benefits. If you make no purchases or reservations in the Benefit Shop in a given month, you are paid one twelfth of your Benefit Budget that month.
- Five weeks of vacation per year. You have the option to purchase an additional four weeks per year.
- Personal development Budget of € 1,000 per year, which you can accumulate up to € 3,000.
- Possibility to work from home (in consultation with your team and depending on your position).
