Join our team as a Business Consultant/Data Steward, and play an essential role in ensuring the delivery of reliable Non-Financial Risk data. Collaborate with our dedicated team to shape the future of our Non-Financial Risk data platform.
Your job
As a member of the Non-Financial Risk Consumer Data Team, you will be integral to our data management efforts. Your mission is to unlock the potential of our data by facilitating structured and compliant data delivery, transformation, and the generation of dashboards and reports on our new Azure cloud-based platform.
The key activities you will be responsible for:
• Support the data users in defining functional and non-functional requirements.
• Lead discussions with stakeholders to understand, assess, and refine the scope and content of their requests
• Perform information analysis: being the bridge between business and IT.
• Maintain a comprehensive overview, from Golden datasets to practical use cases.
• Define and document metadata, analyse and resolve data quality issues, capture governance lineage, and support the development of the business and logical data models.
Workenvironment
he Finance & Risk Data Domain is part of Finance & Risk Business Grids (F&RBG), and plays an active role for all the Finance and Risk departments. We employ 250+ international professionals with different backgrounds who are driven to bring data management within Finance & Risk to a structurally higher level. Our aim is to generate reliable finance & risk data on time. We do this by improving the data itself, data systems and data processes. We work with an Agile operating model. Our Finance and Risk Data Domain consists of 5 departments where the atmosphere is dynamic, open and informal.
Your profile
We are looking for individuals with demonstrated expertise in data analytics, data management, data modelling, and/or data architecture. You are energetic and thrive on blending strategic thinking with hands-on execution. Client focus drives your work within the team, and you take ownership of your responsibilities while continuously advancing your expertise. You are eager to actively contribute to the development and improvement of your area of work.
If this sounds like you, see if you match the following criteria:
• Interest in data governance and data management best practices (e.g., DAMA) and regulatory requirements in these areas (e.g., BCBS239).
• Interest in data modelling, business analysis, and functional analysis.
• Affinity with IT/data platforms and familiarity with ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) and Data Integration.
• Strong communication skills.
• Interest in the non-financial risk domain.
• Teamwork, innovation, and goal-oriented mindset.
• Embrace the Agile way of working.
• Successful completion of higher professional education (BSc) or degree (MSc).
• Excellent oral and written communication skills in English.
