Your job

As a Data Engineer in the Requirements Interface and Oversight team, you will:
-    Design, develop and implement technical solutions to create a sustainable and scalable Central Requirements Repository.
-    Analyse diverse resources to understand the interface between business needs for data, regulatory aspects, and technical capabilities.
-    Integrate these disparate data sources to produce a comprehensive requirements repository that provides the end2end requirement lineage across the chain for insights discovery, analysis, and decision-making.
-    Evaluate the potential of different data fields to enhance our integration and data-driven steering capability. 
-    Assess the information flow to recognize patterns and data clusters to gather actionable insights.
-    Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including but not limited to data domains, data product teams, sourcing teams, data management teams, CDO office, business units, policy teams, implementation and application teams, and technology functions.  
-    Champion innovation to enhance governance, minimise rework and compliance risk, drive automation and optimise planning within our data domain.
-    Make an impact by being part of a pioneering team shaping the future of finance and risk requirements management and data driven steering.
 

Workenvironment

The Finance & Risk Data Domain is part of Finance & Risk Business Grids (F&RBG) and plays an active role for all the Finance and Risk departments. We employ 250+ international professionals with different backgrounds who are driven to bring data management within Finance & Risk to a structurally higher level. Our aim is to generate reliable finance & risk data on time. We do this by improving the data itself, data systems and data processes. We work with an Agile operating model. Our Finance and Risk Data Domain consists of 5 departments where the atmosphere is dynamic, open, and informal. 

Your profile

If what we are looking for match your profile, give us a call.  
-    Tech-savvy problem solver, exhibiting a high level of proficiency in programming languages such as Python, PySpark, SQL and coding best practices. Affinity towards technical topics including automation tools, LLM and AI-driven solutions and eagerness to learn and develop in this area. Experience in working on Azure, Databricks or similar cloud platforms a pré.
-    You have strong collaborative and communication skills to engage stakeholders from various functions.  
-    You have work experience, hay level negotiable based on experience. 
Knowledge of, or eager to learn about the following a pré:
-    Financial sector and/or banking products. 
-    Data governance and data management best practices (e.g. DAMA) and the requirements in these areas from the regulator (e.g. BCBS239).
-    Metadata management and ETL processes (e.g. DMBOK, BABOK certifications). 
-    Data modelling at business, conceptual and logical levels, also at a physical level. 
-    Regulatory and external reporting and risk modelling practices and the regulations that drive them and the impact they have on data. 

We offer

•    The gross monthly salary displayed above is based on a 36-hour work week, including vacation pay and benefit budget.
•    The Benefit Budget is 11% of your salary. The Benefit Budget allows you to acquire additional employment benefits. If you make no purchases or reservations in the Benefit Shop in a given month, you are paid one twelfth of your Benefit Budget that month.
•    Five weeks of vacation per year. You have the option to purchase an additional four weeks per year.
•    Personal development Budget of € 1,000 per year, which you can accumulate up to € 3,000.
•    Possibility to work from home (in consultation with your team and depending on your position).
•    An annual public transport pass with free public transportation throughout the Netherlands.
•    An excellent pension scheme.
