Segment Marketing Manager Business Clients & Ecosystems

Business Clients & Ecosystems (BC&E) is responsible for serving business clients with turnover up to €25 million, through a range of ‘sector clusters’. These clients are quite diverse, including self-employed clients, micro companies, SMEs, intermediary advisors, medical business clients & professionals, and associations and foundations. Our goal is to become the number one choice for SMEs and medical professionals while serving our other sub-segments with convenience and efficiency. We aim to achieve this by providing fast and efficient service and providing access to expertise. Our approach includes amongst others cross buy, further digitisation and development of new propositions. Our mission is to empower entrepreneurs to create more value with their businesses —because that's what truly matters.
 

Your job

As a Segment & Proposition Marketer, you will be strategic, entrepreneurial, commercial, and practical. You will:

  • Translate the Business Clients strategy to a marketing strategy: develop and implement strategies to drive customer growth, profitability, and satisfaction.
  • Ensure our marketing efforts align with segment goals, conversion targets, and drive growth.
  • Translate marketing strategies into execution with tangible results.


You will collaborate closely with the Segment Development Team and departments like Business Clients Sales, Brand Marketing & Communication, E-Commerce, and Customer Experience to orchestrate top-tier marketing execution. Key responsibilities include:

  • Strategic Marketing Planning: Developing marketing and growth strategies that support our segments’ objectives.
  • Data-Driven Decision Making: Utilizing analysis and reporting to enable informed and effective decisions. Monitoring and analyzing marketing data and conversion data to ensure continuous improvement.
  • Implement e2e marketing: For effective marketing campaigns it is important to have a full overview of the funnel and the performance of the campaigns. This needs to be created together with relevant stakeholders such as E-commerce and BM&C.
  • Sub-segment marketing plans: Together with every sub-segment lead co-create and define our marketing plans, efforts, objectives and strategies. In those plans our BC&E core products should play a vital role.
  • Integrate our core products into our marketing execution: For BC&E important products are the daily banking products including ‘Volop Ondernemen’ (payment packages), loans, and beyond banking products e.g. boekhouden.
  • You own the client promise for the segment and are responsible for:
  • Strengthening and securing the alignment of our segment promise and the corporate purpose and brand
  • Translate our promise to inspiring campaigns
  • Orchestrate overall client communication. As our BC&E marketer, it is important you have a complete overview of all of our client communication (letters, e-mails, etc.).
  • Run multi-channel sales campaigns together with the relevant teams (such as e-commerce and brand marketing & communication).


Overall, you are responsible for strengthening ABN AMRO's visibility and positioning amongst Business clients in the market.

Our ideal candidate

Experience:

  • 9+ years of demonstrable experience in a similar marketing role, in the development and successful introduction and expansion of propositions and service-oriented concepts, including associated business cases.
  • Experience with marketing acquisition and retention strategies.
  • Knowledge and experience in the field of communication of product development & pricing.
  • Marketing experience so that you speak the same language in collaboration with colleagues in marketing, communication, and e-Commerce.
  • Understanding of customer journeys, customer experience, and marketing products/services through life events such as starting a company, growing a company.
  • You speak the language of entrepreneurs.
  • Knowledge of banking products, services, and customers. Especially in relation to entrepreneurs.

We are offering

This position is at Hay level 12. Salary is based on knowledge, experience and equal pay. It is a full-time position (36-hour week), with room for flexible and hybrid working.
