Your ultimate goal? Delivering an amazing data consumer experience!

Your job

We're searching for a Data-savvy Business Analyst with a positive attitude to help us set up the data products in the Customer & Party Data domain.  As a key member of one of our DevOps IT teams, you'll play a crucial role in bridging the gap between technical solutions and our product goals.  

Your mission, should you choose to accept it, is to: 

  • Translate user and business needs into requirements for the DevOps team in collaboration with the PO
  • Prepare backlog items for the IT teams in a timely and aligned manner, driving delivery according to the prioritization given by the PO 
  • Collaborate with Business Developers / Data Stewards and Data Modelers to participate in analysis and requirement setting for the DevOps team
  • Take an active role in IT team ceremonies, such as planning, refinement, and retrospective, to stay tuned with the team's progress on deliveries that you've prepared and refined with them 

Requirements

  • You've got experience with software implementations and/or learnings from software implementations 
  • You're a pro at analyzing and solving problems, and you use data and insights to make things better  
  • You have an engaging and approachable communication style, which allows you to simplify complicated topics, translate technical information into understandable language, and extract information efficiently. 
  • You've got or a willing to develop a strong grasp of Requirement Definition techniques, including elicitation, analysis, validating, documenting, and managing requirements 

Working environment

The Departement:

Customer Data Solutions (CDS) is a newly formed department within the COO organization, responsible for generic customer processes and all customer and relationship data (Customer and Party data). This data is made available to all authorized internal stakeholders and external parties via data products. The CDS data office consists of four teams: BI & Data Analytics, Customer & Party Data Products (this role), Data Enablement, and the Customer & Party Golden Data Team.

 

The Team:

Customer & Party Data Products; We are a new and evolving team responsible for delivering Data Products, solving complex data issues related to Customer Data, and acting as advisors.

Your profile

  • HBO/WO Bachelor's or Master's degree.
  • 3-5 years of relevant work experience in the field of change management.
  • Willing to learn scrum/agile methodologies to guide the team towards execution.
  • Great communication and people skills.
  • Ability to assess stakeholder needs in terms of value and priority and translate them into functional requirements.
  • Social, collaborative, curious, and innovative.

We are offering

  • The gross monthly salary shown at the top of the page is based on a 36-hour working week, including holiday pay and benefit budget.
  • The benefit budget is 11% of your salary. If you do not make any purchases or reservations in the Benefit Shop in a month, you will be paid one-twelfth of your benefit budget for that month.
  • Five weeks' holiday per year. You have the option to purchase four additional weeks per year.
  • Personal Development Budget of € 1,000 per year. You can save this amount up to €3,000.
  • Possibility to work from home (in consultation with your team and depending on your position).
  • An annual public transport subscription with free public transport throughout the Netherlands.
  • An excellent pension scheme.
