Market Data Demand & Contract Manager

At a glance

As a Market Data Demand & Contract Manager, you focus on improving the market data processes, systems, and tooling, for the One Bank. You do this by good stakeholder management internally and active vendor management externally. Next to that you manage the market data contracts and come up with improvement ideas in order to decrease the risks and the costs for the bank. By doing all this you take into account the requirements and frameworks set by internal and external stakeholders, such as product development teams, Product Owners, traders and regulators. A good Demand Manager has a business case approach in the day to day activities.

Working environment

As a Market Data Demand Manager you work for the global One Bank,  the role is setup in the Global Markets Grid and belongs to Strategy & Business Development Global Markets and the team consists of 8 FTE. Three FTE’s are responsible for a market data administrative support (i.e. processing requests, maintaining the MD system and managing the realtime data access). 2 FTE’s are responsible for Monitoring & Control activities in the market data domain with a focus on realtime- and reference data. The Market Data Demand Managers (3 FTE) are responsible for managing the overall market data demand and contracts. You report to the Lead Product Owner of the Cross Product Value chain team.

 

As a Demand Manager you contribute to the purpose of the ABN AMRO, banking for better for generations to come. You believe in the strategy of being a personal bank in a digital age.

Your profile

You are a self-starter who is driven to connect with internal and external stakeholders. You are able to combine the strategy of the bank with the knowledge you gained externally in order to advice the internal stakeholder. You have a broad interest in the financial industry and you are keen to develop your market data knowledge further. As the team has a central role to manage the demand and the contracts for the global Onebank this entails that you are interested to cooperate with as well Corporate and Commercial banking as Retail and Private Banking side and related Risk, Finance and IT departments of the organisation including foreign countries. As you manage their contracts you are interested to build relationships throughout the organisation and the market data industry. This means that you need to take ownership and will become responsible for the management of the market data processes and contracts bankwide globally.

  • Knowledge of the global banking organisation with a specific focus on the market data services, products, processes, systems, and tooling
  • Knowledge of market data contract and demand management or willing to gain that knowledge
  • Good understanding of the broad suite of market data terminals, systems and solutions
  • Excellent stakeholder management skills and advisory skills
  • 4-6 years of relevant work experience, preferable within the Financial Services Industry
  • You are an energetic person who combines thinking and doing
  • You are a result oriented person and have an open and honest communication style

  • The gross monthly salary displayed above is based on a 36-hour work week, including vacation pay and benefit budget.
  • The Benefit Budget is 11% of your salary. The Benefit Budget allows you to acquire additional employment benefits. If you make no purchases or reservations in the Benefit Shop in a given month, you are paid one twelfth of your Benefit Budget that month.
  • Five weeks of vacation per year. You have the option to purchase an additional four weeks per year.
  • Personal development Budget of € 1,000 per year, which you can accumulate up to € 3,000.
  • Possibility to work from home (in consultation with your team and depending on your position).
