Your job
As a Business Consultant in the Finance & Risk Consumer Data - Calculation team, you will be acting as a Data Steward responsible for the business aspects of Data Management in accordance with all rules and legislation, policies and standards. We represent our consumers (e.g. Basel Chain, IFRS9 Provision chain, Economic Capital chain) responsible for calculating and reporting RWA results, Provisions and Economic Capital results respectively. These topics form our Data Products, and you will be responsible for defining and registering metadata, analysing and resolving DQ issues, capturing governance lineage and supporting the construction of the Finance & Risk Business Data Model for the respective Data Product(s). You will have an end-to-end overview, from the Golden datasets to a use case, and work closely with subject matter experts from Credit Risk, Data Sourcing, Data Modelling and Data Platform. On a more technical side you will ensure the team delivers high-quality data sets (Data Products) to end-users within the bank.
Working environment
The Finance & Risk Data Domain is part of Finance & Risk Business Grids (F&RBG), and plays an active role for all the Finance and Risk departments. We employ 250+ international professionals with different backgrounds who are driven to bring data management within Finance & Risk to a structurally higher level. Our aim is to generate reliable finance & risk data on time. We do this by improving the data itself, data systems and data processes. We work with an Agile operating model. Our Finance and Risk Data Domain consists of 5 departments where the atmosphere is dynamic, open and informal
Your profile
We are seeking energetic individuals with a passion for combining strategic thinking and hands-on execution. If you resonate with the following criteria, you may be the ideal candidate:
- Master's degree and at least 5 years of work experience in data management in the banking industry, preferably in the Finance and Risk domain
- Good understanding of regulatory requirements related to finance and risk data
- Experience working with SQL and Python is an advantage
- Project management experience
- Ambitious, motivated and resilient
- Strong interpersonal, problem-solving, verbal and written communication skills.
- Excellent stakeholder management skills
We are offering
- The gross monthly salary displayed above is based on a 36-hour work week, including vacation pay and benefit budget.
- The Benefit Budget is 11% of your salary. The Benefit Budget allows you to acquire additional employment benefits. If you make no purchases or reservations in the Benefit Shop in a given month, you are paid one twelfth of your Benefit Budget that month.
- Five weeks of vacation per year. You have the option to purchase an additional four weeks per year.
- Personal development Budget of € 1,000 per year, which you can accumulate up to € 3,000.
- Possibility to work from home (in consultation with your team and depending on your position).
