Business Analist FX (Strategy & Business Development)

As a Business Analist FX, you focus on improving the performance of the Global Markets Foreign eXchange (FX) propositions, processes and systems.
You take into account the requirements and frameworks set by internal and external stakeholders and translate them into end-to-end solutions that are consistent with developments in the areas of technology, digitalisation, legislation, and regulation.
You are able to promote change through the solutions you propose.
Your job
As Business Analist FX you contribute to the goals of the Global Markets, its Grid and value chain.
You embrace the agile way of working and are responsible for analysing and capturing our clients’ needs and facilitating the resulting change;
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather and analyse product, process and system requirements, ensuring alignment with FX strategies.
- Work closely with DevOps engineers to provide requirements for improving our applications and implement and validate process models
- Closely collaborate with the product owner and team to translate requirements into Product Backlog Items
- Proactively share obtained knowledge and insights from your analysis and provide recommendations and implementation scenarios
- Realize the actual change with involved DevOps team(s) and monitor the delivered quality
Working environment
As a Business Analist FX you work for the FX Value Chain, which is part of the grid Financial Markets within Global Markets.
The Grid consists of four value chain teams. Three of which are responsible for a value chain (i.e. FX, Credits & Rates and Securities Finance, Equities & Treasury) and one value chain that is supportive of the other three chains (the Cross Product value chain).
The FX value chain team is responsible for the implementation of the strategy for FX. By taking end-to-end ownership - don’t stop until the change is embedded in the organization- we realize effective and efficient change with proven impact for the FX business.
The team consists of 1 Lead Product Owner and 6 Business Analists, you report to the Lead Product Owner.
Your profile
A successful candidate will be required to demonstrate the following core competencies:
- Curious and learning mindset
- Getting things done mentality
- Analytical mindset to interpret complex issues and provide structural solutions
- Experience in requirement analysis
- Experience in IT projects with proven impact
- 6-10 years of relevant work experience, preferable within the Financial Services Industry
- Able to coach (less) experienced colleagues
- Able to collaboration with cross-functional teams
- Easily translate a holistic view in concrete actions
We are offering
- The gross monthly salary displayed above is based on a 36-hour work week, including vacation pay and benefit budget.
- The Benefit Budget is 11% of your salary. The Benefit Budget allows you to acquire additional employment benefits. If you make no purchases or reservations in the Benefit Shop in a given month, you are paid one twelfth of your Benefit Budget that month.
- Five weeks of vacation per year. You have the option to purchase an additional four weeks per year.
- Personal development Budget of € 1,000 per year, which you can accumulate up to € 3,000.
