Is working in the financial world your calling? Are you social as well as truly analytical? Do you have the desire to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment in the largest dealing room in continental Europe? Then join us at our Global Markets Inhouse Day!

Why Global Markets?

Global Markets is the heart of Corporate Banking, we support clients on the purchase and sale of financial products and services, such as securities or currencies. Moreover, we assist our clients with a listing (IPO) or the issuance of bonds. Our clients vary from private banking to (large) corporate clients, public sector and financial institutions. We carry out transactions from our dealing rooms in Amsterdam, Frankfurt, London and Paris.

Corporate Banking Traineeship

Your first 5 weeks at ABN AMRO starts with an Corporate Banking Traineeship introduction programme at Nyenrode Business University, where together with other trainees you will get to know the bank. During this period, you familiarise yourself with the (corporate) bank and participate in a training programme that includes both professional and personal development sessions. After completing the 5-week introduction programme, you will start the Global Markets rotation programme. Over the course of 24 months, you will work in different teams on the dealing room and get the chance to branch out into one of the other departments within the corporate bank, thereby broadening your knowledge and network. It is also possible to gain experience abroad in one of our offices in Frankfurt, Paris, London or New York. After 24 months, you are ready to start in a team that best matches your skills and ambitions.
