During this traineeship, you will have the unique opportunity to work as a consultant in different teams within the bank. Traineeship opportunities

Duration:
18 months

Rotations: Experience the financial world world from different perspectives with two rotations. Build a diverse network and gain valuable knowledge from various departments. This broad experience  enables you to introduce innovative ideas.

Personal Development: Your personal growth is important. In collaboration with our partner Kyden, we offer you a challenging program. Discover and strengthen your strengths and lesser strengths with our leadership modules. You will attend inspiring masterclasses on essential topics such as sustainability and Artificial Intelligence (AI). Use your curiosity to gain new insights and bring them directly into your work, so you're ready for the challenges of today and tomorrow.

Work on the Future Fit Project: Contribute to the 'Future Fit' project and leverage your creativity and innovative. Together with your fellow trainees, you will receive guidance from a coach and a mentor who will help you develop your talents and achieve your goals.

Who are you?

  • You have recently obtained a master’s degree.
  • You have no more than 2 years of work experience.
  • You have affinity with the financial sector and think in the best interest of the customer.
  • You can communicate clearly and have a positive critical attitude.
  • You are eager to (further) develop your consultancy skills through, for example, process optimization or a digitalization issue.
  • We look for diversity in background, field of study and interests.

Selection Process

The application process for the traineeship consists of several steps:Apply for this position before May 1st. After submitting your motivation letter and CV, you will hear from us whether you are invited to the next round of the selection process: the online assessment. We have a minimum score requirement, so ensure you prepare well. If you achieve a good score, a short telephone intake will follow, and then we will schedule the first online interview from mid-April. If we are convinced after the first interview, you will be invited to the selection day. On the selection day, you will do a pitch, work on various cases, and have another short interview.By July 1st, you will hear from us whether you have been selected for the Consultancy Traineeship.

Collaboration with external partner

Besides applying directly to ABN AMRO for the Consultancy Traineeship, you can also apply through our partner, SeederDeBoer. With this external partner, you will participate in a year-long program filled with training, education, and coaching. Following the program, you will start on contract with ABN AMRO.
