At Central Risk Management you will help define bank-wide enterprise risk management with a direct link to the overall strategy. Central Risk Management enables the stakeholders to be in control! Through our expertise, knowledge & experience, integrated view and ability to pro-actively connect, we deliver a stronger company where well considered decisions are taken through our transparent & powerful risk policies, ensuring transparent, stable and robust models that supply useful information to support decision making and a culture of efficient & effective control.
Your job
We are looking for a Risk Specialist that is involved in both Stress Testing activities and External Risk Reporting to join our team. Someone who gets inspired and energized by complex tasks that start with retrieving requirements, information & data in an efficient and optimal way. Someone who can structure this input, followed by proper analysis, visualizations and conclusions. Someone who can connect the dots and is able to translate and present strategic advises resulting from the analysis towards internal and external stakeholders and – in doing so – generate impact for the bank. If this sounds like you as a person in combination with your competences, then please contact us!
You will have a primary focus on Stress Testing and External Risk Reporting and thereby:
• Perform stress testing and various simulation exercises for internal and regulatory purposes
• Perform model ownership related activities
• Coordinate, analyse, validate and write risk disclosures in our quarterly, annual and Pillar 3 reporting
As all the risks are part of the integrated risk view, we have a good overview of the total risk profile of the bank. You will be part of a multidisciplinary team and work on one or several products. You will be provided with a knowledge intensive working environment. We value knowledge sharing, within as well as outside of our own department. Together we are constantly in motion in order to respond to our changing environment, which is becoming more complex and demanding.
Working environment
The ERM Network within Central Risk Management consists of a group of around 80 professionals that are involved with maintaining the strategic risk profile of the bank. We deliver high quality products for our internal and external stakeholders and provide advice to facilitate decision making process.
You will be working with an energetic group of people who share the same drive and vision. Our unique selling point is the diversity of topics and of our colleagues, who come from a background in Risk, Finance, Business or Consultancy and with multiple nationalities. We are always available to help each other. Furthermore, we make time for non-work related activities.
Although your initial placement will focus on Stress Testing and External Risk Reporting, you will be part of the larger Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) Network with domains that are characterized by working with data analysis (IFRS impairments, Stress Testing & Scenario Analysis, Strategic Capital Allocation, RWA advisory, Economic Capital Advisory, etc.). You will facilitate senior management to define an appropriate response to the material risks faced by the Bank. Based on our deliverables we contribute to informed strategic decisions and by that in defining and controlling the Bank’s strategy. The way of working of the ERM Network offers the opportunity to share your knowledge and contribute to the deliverables of CRM in a broader context. At the same time it offers you the opportunity to learn more about the wider set-up of risk management.
Your profile
We would like to work with someone who is a team player and who combines good work ethics and results with curiosity and adaptiveness. The future team colleague is willing to challenge the status quo and eager to take action to improve it.
