Your job

In this dynamic position, you’ll play a key role in securing our IT landscape. You’ll collaborate with talented development teams, offering guidance and expertise to ensure information security is prioritized from the beginning of our banking products' lifecycle. This means engaging in continuous co-creation and practicing security by design.

You'll be working within ABN AMRO’s IT organization, a truly international environment with colleagues from around the globe. Regularly, you’ll interact with developers, product owners, grid owners, and other stakeholders across all business lines. Your ability to balance business needs with potential risks will be critical. When information security is on the line, you'll need to think quickly and creatively to find smart, effective solutions.

Working environment

You’ll join the CISO Technology and Engineering (T&E) team, part of the Corporate Information Security Office (CISO), which consists around 500 professionals. Our mission is to safeguard the bank's information security, working closely with IT teams to ensure secure infrastructure and applications. In our multinational team of over 90 employees, hierarchy takes a backseat to collaboration as we strive to fulfill our mission.

Your profile

You are a cybersecurity expert or security risk professional with a knack for seeing the big picture. You’re able to set a clear vision, guide colleagues, and keep expanding your technical and soft skills. Your excellent analytical abilities make you a valuable sparring partner at the management level. You thrive in a complex organization, effortlessly navigating and aligning business and IT.
 
Your qualifications include:
•    Experience in IT; Information Security; Cyber/Cloud Security
•    A degree in Information Technology or a related field

Knowledge and understanding of:
•    Development lifecycle and platform security (threat modeling, development pipeline security, container security)
•    Application security and secure coding practices
•    Cloud security, with a focus on Azure
•    Cloud concepts and best practices
•    Security assessments in a DevOps environment
•    Security processes, technologies, and architectures, including security configurations, patch management, access control, cryptography, and communication protocols
•    Risk Management, including documentation, report writing, reviewing, and consulting

Additionally, you bring:
•    Strong stakeholder management skills, particularly in a multicultural and international setting
•    Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, in English and Dutch
•    Good presentation skills and the ability to inspire and convince people
•    The ability to easily connect the dots and take the extra step to get DevOps teams to the next level 
•    AZ-900, AZ-104, or AZ-500 certifications, or you have a willingness to obtain them
