Join our Credit Process Management team to coordinate and execute sustainability regulatory changes within the credit chain. 

Credit Process Management is a new team within the 1st line of defense in Financing Solutions (FS). FS is responsible for our customers' end-to-end credit journey. FS offers customers from all customer segments the most suitable credit solution. Depending on the needs and profile of the client, FS offers its products (both standard and tailor-made financing solutions) in the different sectors.  The job holder is responsible for the strategic positioning of FS and effectively managing relationships with stakeholders in the sustainability domain to ensure alignment between sustainability regulatory change initiatives and processes and tools within the credit chain. The ideal candidate must possess a keen understanding of the lending and sustainability domains and demonstrate the ability to influence and guide sustainability changes that impact the credit chain, supporting the overall goals of the bank. 

Your job

As the Sustainability and Lending Change Lead, you will be at the forefront of driving transformative change by integrating sustainable regulatory changes into our lending processes. Your role will involve coordinating sustainability initiatives across FS, developing and implementing innovative sustainability change execution strategies, ensuring alignment with our organisational goals and regulatory requirements. 

As the Sustainability and Lending Change Lead, you will be responsible for: 

  • Serving as the first point of contact for sustainability regulatory changes within FS. 

  • Ensuring continuous alignment between sustainability change initiatives and FS goals. 

  • Taking a strategic view on how sustainability changes should be incorporated into credit processes. 

  • Driving rationalization in implementing sustainability changes in credit processes and tools. 

  • Ensuring quality of sustainability regulatory changes implementation and controlled risk acceptance when required. 

  • Proactively contributing to the development of tools and processes like the Transmission Channel Framework, CER-Adjusted PD, Risk Classification Tool, and Guidance. 

  • Acting as a sparring partner for implementation of sustainability regulatory changes for colleagues within FS. 

  • Focusing on maintaining professional and stakeholder relationships. 

Working environment

You will be part of the Credit Process Management team within the 1st line of defense in FS. The team plays a critical role in continuously improving credit and collateral processes and tools, including the implementation of regulatory (including sustainability) changes outside IT. This improvement involves simplification, innovation, AI, and outsourcing. While managing regulatory changes as efficiently as possible, the team aims to enhance the client journey and contribute to a better working environment for the Lending and Lending Support teams through process and tool optimization. 

The Credit Process Management team contributes to the development and execution of sustainability regulatory changes pertaining to the credit process, like the Transmission Channel Framework, Risk Classification Tool, etc. We seek a Lead with strong stakeholder management skills and expertise in Sustainability, Lending, and Change Management domains. 

Your profile

  • University Master's degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, Sustainable Development, or related fields. 

  • At least 7 years of experience in senior roles in Lending or Sustainability. 

  • In-depth understanding of financial and sustainability risk dynamics and the lending domain. 

  • In-depth knowledge of lending products, systems, and work processes. 

  • Strong stakeholder management skills. 

  • Strong analytical skills and the ability to perform detailed analyses. 

  • Creative problem-solving skills to develop effective solutions that comply with regulations. 

  • Adaptability to the evolving landscape of sustainable finance regulations. 

  • Keen attention to detail for compliance and accuracy. 

  • Ability to collaborate across departments and organizations. 

  • Excellent communication skills, both written and oral. 

  • Professional working proficiency in English and Dutch is a must. 

We are offering

  • The gross monthly salary displayed above is based on a 36-hour work week, including vacation pay and benefit budget.
  • The Benefit Budget is 11% of your salary. The Benefit Budget allows you to acquire additional employment benefits. If you make no purchases or reservations in the Benefit Shop in a given month, you are paid one twelfth of your Benefit Budget that month.
  • Five weeks of vacation per year. You have the option to purchase an additional four weeks per year.
  • Personal development Budget of € 1,000 per year, which you can accumulate up to € 3,000.
  • Possibility to work from home (in consultation with your team and depending on your position).
  • An annual public transport pass with free public transportation throughout the Netherlands.
