Enterprise Architect Risk & Finance

At a glance

Enterprise Architects translate strategy to execution by connecting the dots. They do so through development of artefacts describing the implications for the future (this is Architecture Development capability) and via Architecture Control - where they make sure that what is being built by the IT change organisation is following the architecture direction. They work together with a variety of stakeholders, from high-level management and strategic theme owners to Process & Data Owners and Domain Architects.

Enterprise Architecture sits within Change Management & Consultancy and enables Senior Management to make informed and data-driven decisions and develops sustainable architectures for business and IT dilemmas. Our team of Enterprise Architects are focused on all areas of the bank: 1) Customer, 2) Products, 3) Risk & Finance, Functions, 4) Security, 5) Data Management, 6) Software & Platform. We are currently looking for colleagues to join the Risk & Finance architecture area where they will help shape the target landscape of the bank in relation to the increased Enterprise Architecture Mandate towards countries and subsidiaries.

Your job

  • You act as a leader, who can develop and control the architecture vision of the respective architecture area. You paint the bigger picture, but are also pragmatic and realistic
  • You are part of, and work together within a small team to ensure that consistent architecture guidance is developed and delivered. At the same time you interact with various stakeholders enterprise-wide to make sure our deliverables are aligned and adopted
  • You coordinate and are assertive when it comes to solving dependencies or complex problems
  • You are able to oversee a complex stakeholder landscape and are seen as a trusted partner

In this role you are responsible for Enterprise Architecture Development and Architecture Control. This means:

  • Exercising architecture control by reviewing solution intents on adherence to enterprise architecture standards and guidelines and by advising on areas to further consider
  • Carefully following the latest business and technology trends and developments and determining the impact it could have on the organization. By doing so you are providing hands-on architecture leadership on complex, innovative proposals and projects
