We aim to be a personal bank in the digital age. The world is changing rapidly and becoming increasingly digital. ABN AMRO is keen to make a difference and contribute to the digitisation of banking products. This will allow our clients to do their banking online, have face-to-face meetings with advisors through video banking, and request virtually any product through our website. With all these developments, we empower our clients to take control of their banking needs with digital convenience.
The Digital & Innovation department is responsible for the online services of the ABN AMRO Retail organisation. To provide the best possible service, we centre our efforts on three focus areas: e-Commerce, Digital Development & Interaction and Strategy & Innovation.
Maarten van Rutte is Business Developer for Digital Payments at ABN AMRO. He studied International Business and Marketing Management and made the switch from a B2B environment to ABN AMRO three years ago.
We are currently working on a very large project to future-proof internet banking and migrate lots of applications to the cloud. In the end, this will make it easier and faster for us to change things later and take them live for clients.
I never thought I’d be working for a bank! I studied Business Administration and Information & Knowledge Management, and during my studies I mainly worked in e-commerce. That's how I ended up in the data world.
