Data is everything

Day in and day out, we produce an enormous amount of data. But we cannot do much with this data on its own. We cannot read this data without first properly interpreting it. So, we believe it’s important to make good use of data; then it actually offers significant opportunities. That’s why we interact with many different parties both inside and outside of the bank. 

We help, for instance, our colleagues in Risk Management by translating the data into solutions and insights. This data interpretation allows our colleagues not only to calculate risks, but also to decide whether they should be avoided or even deliberately taken. What’s more, the use of data is highly relevant to society. We’re having the conversation about data accessibility and privacy, as well as its proper usage. This field is still evolving, and we’re right in the middle of it. We're innovating on the job each and every day.
